'Mercury rising' in Odyssey

A LURGAN man sent the 'Mercury' rising at a packed Odyssey Arena.
Freddie Mercury impersonator, Harry Hamilton, strutted his stuff in front of a 7,000 strong crowd in the Belfast arena with the band Flash Harry.

Singing Queen Classics like Bohemian Rhapsody and Don't Stop Me Now accompanied by the Ulster Orchestra, the 44-year-old rocked the arena.

Highlight of the night was a duet was a rousing rendition of Barcelona with Aoife Miskelly, who also plays with the orchestra.

Harry has gained worldwide acclaim playing to thousands across the globe.

Hamilton decked out in a glittering array of Freddie Mercury costumes has become an annual fixture in the Odyssey with Flash Harry who have been together for years.
