Store helps raise £4,000 for charity

Local charity Action Cancer has received a funding boost from Morrow Retail. SuperValu Lurgan along with SuperValu Lisburn and Centra Culcavy have raised a whopping �4000. 

Staff and customers from Morrows SuperValu, Lurgan have contributed to this amazing total through in store collections and participation fundraising initiatives throughout the year.   

The money will help fund Action Cancers services which include the Big Bus, sponsored by SuperValu - a unique state-of-the-art mobile clinic providing breast screening and cancer prevention services. It will also support Action Cancers Health Action programme for schools, which is sponsored by Centra. Health Action has been designed to educate young people on healthier lifestyles, including exercise, healthy eating, sun safety and the dangers of smoking and alcohol.
