Deaths in the community for the period April 22-27
Samuel Lavery
The death took place on April 22 of Samuel Lavery, husband of the late Phyllis, 521 Clonmeen, and formerly of Castle Lane, Lurgan.
He was the son of the late Samuel and Alice and brother of Sheila, Nan, Lily, Billy, Rita, Margaret, Maud and the late Gerald. His funeral was on Friday to St Peter's Church followed by interment in St Colman's.
Lesley Julie Lawther
The death took place peacefuly on April 23 at her parents' home of Lesley Julie Lawther, nee Richardson, wife of Clive, daughter of Jim and Michele and sister of David.
Her funeral was on Sunday from her parents' home, 2 Irwin Drive, Lurgan, to Waringstown Presbyterian Burying Ground.
Nan Reid
The death took place on April 23 of Nan Reid, nee Lavery, Portadown and Lurgan.
She was the daughter of Samuel and Alice Lavery, formerly of Castle Lane, Lurgan, and sister of Sheila, Billy, Rita, Margaret, Maud and the late Gerald and Samuel.
Rebecca Girvan
The death took place peacefully at hospital on April 26 of Rebecca (Ruby ) Girvan, formerly of Albert Street, Lurgan.
She was the wife of the late Frank and mother of James, Margaret, William, Glyn, Alan, Eleanor and the late Maurice. Her funeral was on Tuesday from her daughter's home to Ardmore Parish.
Margaret McGibbon
The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital of Margaret (Marie) McGibbon, nee McCann.
She was the wife of Gerry, 2 Ashgrove Avenue, Lurgan, and mother of Patricia (McKay), Gerald, Sinead, Margaret (McVeigh) and Catherine.
Her funeral was on Monday to St Peter's Church followed by interment in St Colman's.
Bridget Scullion
The death took place suddenly on April 27 of Bridget (Bridie) Scullion, 59 Parknasilla Way, Aghagallon.
She was the wife of the late Robert (Robbie) and mother of Ann and Malachy.
