Deaths in the local community for the period August 8 to 11, 2009
Robert William Porter
The death took place peacefully on August 8 at Craigavon Area Hospital of Robert William (Bobbie) Porter, husband of June, 26 Woodford Park, Lurgan, and formerly of Banbridge.
His funeral was on Monday to Holy Trinity Parish Church, Waringstown, followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.
James McGlone
The death took place at his residence of James McGlone, 28 Ashdene Park, Taghnevan, formerly of Aughnasallagh, Caledon.
He was the husband of the late Margaret and father of Seamus, Maureen (Sherry), Kay (Connolly), Teresa (Graham), Veronica (Fitzpatrick), Patricia and the late Rosaleen (Hughes) and Pamela.
His funeral was on Monday to St Joseph's Church, Caledon, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
