A WARINGSTOWN Girl Guide was selected to sing with an Ulster choir in London in 1989.

Lyn Harrison, a member of the village troop, was to take part in the Thinking Day celebrations in February.

A 13 year old pupil at Lurgan Junior High School, Lyn went along to an audition in Armagh and, against fierce opposition, was chosen, along with one other girl, to represent the county on the choir.
