Boat and shed stolen

SOME odd thefts were carried out in January 1974.

First up was a bright yellow workman’s hut, stolen form the Cottage Road in Dollingstown. The hut was set on wheels and all its contents went with it.

The second theft came a few days later when thieves made off with a 15 feet long cedarwood boat, which was parked outside a house in Derryadd.

Lurgan police were investigating the thefts.
