AN exciting addition to the Belfast entertainment scene since its reopening in November 2006, The Baby Grand has been firmly established as a top quality and versatile entertainment venue.
The venue's new season opened on September 26 with the Marie Jones classic Stones in His Pockets.

The must-see music act in the programme this season is one of Northern Ireland's most artistic soprano soloists Elizabeth Ross, in a concert entitled
The Other Side of Me, in what has been billed as a celebration of the lighter side of life. Elizabeth has gained considerable success from an early age, winning the Downtown Radio Young Musician of the Year at 16 as well as appearing regularly as soloist with the Shaw singers. Now a regular choice for principal roles with the Belfast Operatic Company, Elizabeth Ross will be on The Baby Grand stage on Friday and Saturday, October 3 and 4 at 8pm. Tickets for The Other Side of Me cost £14.

Now a regular event and highlight in the Baby Grand calendar West Coast Cooler Fashion Week catwalks again from Thursday, October 16 to Saturday, October 18 showcasing the best of what's in the shops right now as well as what's coming up the rest of the season. Tickets cost £10.

The drama highlight of the forthcoming season is the gripping and controversial show, The Bomb, presented by Action Transport Theatre and The Dukes Lancaster. Inspired by the true story of Jo Berry whose father Sir Anthony Berry was killed in the 1984 bomb and Patrick Magee who planted the bomb, the production builds towards the meeting of these two extraordinary people; one who 'killed in the name of justice' and the other who refused to be a victim forever.

The theme changes entirely with Carnival for the Mind, which lands at The Baby Grand from Thursday, November 6 until Saturday, November 8 at 8pm, with an additional 3pm performance on Saturday.

Promising an enchanting evening of mind boggling magic, illusions and comedy all set in a 1920s style American travelling carnival, Carnival for the Mind has confounded audiences from Las Vegas to London's West End with their unique brand of magic! Tickets range between £10 and £14, with matinee and family rates available.

Happenstance Theatre Company make their Baby Grand debut on Friday, November 14 with Not About Heroes, an intriguing play charting the friendship of Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon, who met in the Craiglockhart War Hospital for Nervous Disorders in 1917.
