WITH mere days to Planetlove WKD's annual dance music extravaganza thousands of fans across Ireland are fizzing with anticipation as over 70 of the world's finest electronic music stars prepare to descend on Shane's Castle.
Trance sensation Paul Van Dyk headlines the mammoth fiesta in what is his only Ireland appearance of 2009.
And he is joined by a plethora of international talent including ATB, Fedde le Grand, Marco V, Judge Jules, Showtek, John O'Callaghan, Sco
t Project, Technoboy, Dream Frequency and many more.
They perform across seven arenas; LOVE, Goodgreef Xtra Hard, Cool FM Outdoor Stage, Rendezvous (Oldskool), Trance Anthems, Love @ Home and the Hed Kandi VIP.
Mesmerizing visuals and breathtaking overall production in all seven arenas will deliver the most intense Planetlove festival experience to date – with brand new arenas being shipped in from abroad and the best soundsystems and lighting rigs ever used installed in each and every one.
A new bar system will see tokens used instead of cash for the first time – with the onus on people spending more time inside the arenas than in queues.
And those wishing to surround themselves in luxury can avail of the Hed Kandi VIP area with relaxed seating area, VIP bar and toilet facilities, non-crowded food vendors and Hed Kandi's finest DJing elite – it's plush and sexy all day long!
Elsewhere the Cool FM Outdoor Stage hosts house and electro stars like Fedde le Grand and Seb Fontaine, while Goodgreef present their Xtra Hard Album Launch Tour with the globe's leading hardstyle and hard dance purveyors – Showtek, Luna, Technoboy, Kutski and Bootek just some of the names on their line-up.
The Rendezvous arena steps back in time with legends of the hardcore scene including US jock Lenny Dee, while Dave Pearce and friend's mix it up in the Trance Anthems Arena.
TFI help host the Love @ Home Arena with Northern Ireland's best up and coming talent – while the showpiece LOVE Arena is once again the beating heart of the festival with sets from Paul van Dyk, ATB, Judge Jules, Marco V and many more.
Fully licensed bars, funfair, stalls, food vendors and more provide all the non-music necessities.
