THE fantastic Elliot Minor return to Belfast to play an all ages show in Spring & Airbrake this Friday.
Tickets priced £12 are on sale now from www.ticketmaster.ie and at the door.

With four huge singles, a Top 10 debut album, sell-out tours and over three million MySpace views, York based rock quintet Elliot Minor have smashed into the UK music s
cene.

The band is made up of Alex Davies (Lead Vocals/guitar) Ed Minton (Guitar/voacals), Teddy Hetherton (Bass), Dan Hetherton (Drums/backing vocals) and Ali Paul (Keyboard).

Their music is daring and unafraid…racing pianos, driving guitars, sweeping violins and crashing cymbals harmonize in a symphony of sound, evoking the stories and emotions of frontman Davies. The songs are arranged around Elliot, the band's piano, and they are rich with minor and dissonant chords, hence the name, Elliot Minor.

Their debut album was produced by Jim Wirt (Incubus, Hoobastank, Something Corporate) and mixed by Neal Avron (Yellowcard, New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy), and finds Elliot Minor mixing approaches from the piano-infused hard rock of 'Time After Time' to the sonically charged 'Parallel Worlds', which is embellished with grandiose orchestration. They deliver pitch perfect three-way vocal harmonies on the infectious 'The White One is Evil' and add an undertone of ultra-melodic punk to 'Still Figuring Out'.

Two brilliant bands have been added to the support bill, The Mission District and Fox Avenue.

The Mission District are a Canadian five piece that have been gaining a growing fan base while touring with the likes of Saving Amy and Simple Plan.

Like Pinky & the Brain, Fox Avenue's mission is to try and take over the world with their powerful pop rock tunes, this hasn't worked yet, but a few more shows and you never know what may happen.
