New disc for Live Issue

LIVE ISSUE have released a new album ahead of their stateside tour this summer.
'Makin' Plans', released in June, is the latest offering from the Bleary five piece.

Later this month the self-proclaimed 'ambassadors of country music and the Christian faith' will be jetting off for a tour of America.

They will appear in majo
r church and theatre venues throughout Florida, Georgia,Tennessee and Alabama. Highlights will include a concert for the Hank Williams fan club in the singer’s home town of Georgiana, Alabama, a concert in La Grange, Georgia which is twinned with Craigavon and Shades Mountain Baptist Church, one of the largest churches in America

The tour will climax with a special guest appearance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The band will also co-host the Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree with George Hamilton.

The band have said appearing at these venues is a 'dream come true'.

Since Live Issue reformed back in 2006, their unique style of music and ministry has reached a whole new generation across the United Kingdom and America.

Live Issue are Colin Elliott, Roy Dreaning, Sam Armstrong, Samuel Purdy and Carl Sands.

Although the group still plays at many events in Northern Ireland they are also regularly found performing at concerts and conventions throughout Britain.

In mid May they released their new album 'Makin’ Plans' at the Whitby Gospel Music Convention in Yorkshire.

Live Issue was one of the headlining artists, the largest gospel music convention in England. The new album has 13 tracks, all of which are sure to please the most discerning country gospel enthusiast.
