THE Enemy and Reverend and the Makers are on the bill for Day Three of Belsonic, Belfast's newest music festival in Custom House Square, on Thursday, August 14.
The Enemy went straight to Number One in the UK Albums chart with debut album We'll Live and Die in These Towns last summer, and spent the winter playing numerous sold out shows, including opening for The Rolling Stones in London. A string of awards followed the album and it spawned five back to back top 40 singles.

Sheffield band Reverend and the Makers are fronted by Jon "The Reverend" McClure. His down-to-earth, cynical and observant outlook on modern-day life are captured in the songs. Turning down majors to sign for Wall Of Sound, they broke through with a top ten hit in debut single Heavyweight Champion of the World. The band went on to complete a hat trick of indie number one singles, and then scored a top 5 album with The State of Things toward the end of 2007.

Also on the bill are Derry band Fighting With Wire who signed for Atlantic Records earlier this year, Future of the Left and Mid Ulster young guns General Fiasco.

Tickets, £27.50, are available from www.belsonic.com ,The Stiff Kitten Belfast (9023 8700), Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.ie, and their 24 hour line 0870 243 4455.

Gates open at 6pm.
