FOLK metal band Waylander have released their third studio album.
The band, from Lurgan, Portadown, Armagh and Lisburn, had been quiet for some time prior to the release of ‘Honour Among Chaos’ on French label Listenable Records.

They were widely considered innovators when they helped create the ‘folk metal’ genre more than a decade ago, mixing thrashing heavy metal with their native folk music.

With their third album released last month they plan to tour extensively in the UK, Europe, America and Asia with a number of Irish shows also under negotiation.

Visit www.waylander.org or the band’s myspace www.myspace.com/clanwaylander for updates and gig details.
