DESPITE rumours to the contrary which have been circulating in recent weeks the Sarsfields can confirm that former county player Kieran McGurk will be in charge of the High Moss senior team in 2008.
Kieran took over at the end of 2006 when the Sarsfields were at an all time low having been relegated to the third division for the first time in the club’s history.

Last season Sarsfields won the third division with games in hand yet had a couple of scares away to Clady where they won by a point. Ironically in real terms the Trasna club kick started their season following a mid season double defeat against Lisummon and An Port Mor but went on to chalk up comfortable victories towards the end of the season.

Senior county medallists Eamon Murray and Sean McGeown will again be on the sideline with the former Armagh star.
