Charity night for Hospice

THIS bank holiday weekend at St Anthony's Centre Craigavon, local man Ian O'Hagan has organised a Cabaret and Dance with all proceeds going to the Newry Hospice.

This Sunday evening, May 4 The Chevys will provide the music for the dance and cabaret acts such as Tommy Coleman, Cathal McCann, Budley Lavery, Mal Donnelly and Ian's talented niece Naoimh O’Hagan.

Ian speaking to the ‘MAIL’ said: “I would like to thank everyone who has helped sell tickets and all the performers it will be a great night and I really hope we can all get to the target of 5000 which is the amount that is needed to help run the hospice for just one day.

“I would also like to thank Thomas Moore Interiors for donating an Armagh jersey, and I would like to thank the entire Armagh senior squad for signing it.”

The jersey will be raffled off on Sunday nights function along with loads of other prizes. The admission is 10 which also includes a free raffle for a weekend for two.

Tickets can be purchased from Print Business Supplies Lurgan, St Anthony's Centre, Mulhollands Chippy Derrymacash, and Litters Service Station in Portadown. Doors open at 8pm and the cabaret starts at 9.15pm.

You can also pay at the door on Sunday night if for some reason you have not purchased a ticket yet.
