ChilliFest hots up

CHILLIFEST – the fiery food and music phenomenon within Coors Light Open House Festival – is back and hotter than ever.

Taking place on September 11 and 12 at Custom House Square, Belfast, ChilliFest will have more funky festival sideshows than you can shake a burrito at.

A sizzling day out for all the family, ChilliFest highlights will include, Ireland’s only hot chilli pepper eating contest, Strictly Come Barn Dancing, Rock ’n’ Roll Cookery Demonstrations, beard grooming from Vintage Hair Rocks, and limited edition ChilliFest body painting from Alternative Ink, plus many more weird and wonderful festival attractions.

The No Alibis book tent will also return this year to host a fantastic live music and literary programme.

Hillbilly hellraisers, Hayseed Dixie, will headline Sunday afternoon and there will be lip-smacking live music aplenty across the two days from Pokey LaFarge & The South City Three, Water Tower Bucket Boys, and Morgan O’Kane & Ferd 4.

All chilli heads are hereby given fit and proper notice.

Tickets are 5 and kids go free. For the most up-to-date line-up, further festival information and ticket details simply visit www.coorsopenhousefestival.com
