THE Westport Festival of Music and Food runs from June 29 to 30.

It’s an annual 2-day family friendly event set amidst the stunning 400-acre estate of Westport House in County Mayo.

Featuring incredible international musical acts, quality on-site camping, amazing food, comedy, beer tents and wine bars, the organisers create a truly relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Most importantly, festival-goers will have the opportunity to spend a summer weekend in the heart of one of Ireland’s most charming towns, recently voted the best place to live in Ireland by the Irish Times.

Artists performing at the event include Elvis Costello and The Imposters, Imelda May, Buena Vista Social Club, Blind Boys of Alabama, ABC, The Stunning, Ryan Sheridan, The Riptide Movement, Sharon Corr, Gavin James, Julie Feeney, Cry Before Dawn, Hermitage Green, In Their Thousands, plus many more to be announced.
