Buskers near and far invited to fest

BANBRIDGE BuskFest is once again sending the call out to buskers from near and far to take part in the 10th annual busking festival which this year takes place on Saturday, June 22 in Banbridge Town Centre.

LOCAL indie band Last Rush have embarked on their first UK tour. The self-financed tour started in Glasgow on Tuesday night and when the ‘MAIL’ caught up with the band they were due to play Manchester, Liverpool and finish with two dates in London.

Craigavon app first of its kind in Nl

A NEW free app – and the first of its kind in Northern Ireland - which aims to help local people to stay up to date with local information, was launched at the Civic Centre recently.

LURGAN Junior High School pupil Jack Brown (pictured) is proving to be quite a talented skier.

Evie Dawson (2) from Lurgan made friends with a mysterious six foot creature called Argon that has descended upon Rushmere Shopping Centre in Craigavon throughout May ahead of The Dragons of Azrael production which commences on Wednesday 29 May and runs to Sunday 2 June on the mall. The thirty-minute show, aimed at 4-11 year olds, is produced and created by local Coalisland-based company D-Sign and Displays, and promises to excite the senses and really help children in letting their creative side and imagination loose. With tickets priced at just �3.50 and four shows a day over a five day period, it's a great opportunity for children to tap into their imagination and creative side outside of school hours this Summer.
