THOUSANDS of music lovers from across the borough and beyond descended on Lurgan and central Craigavon last week for the first ever Craigavon Music Fest.

The three-day event, which also included an evening in Portadown, was organised by Craigavon Borough Council and managed by the PEACE III Southern Partnership’s Future Foundations priority and supported by the European Union’s PEACE III Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.

With performances from locally and nationally acclaimed artists including Microlip, Swingabella, James Huish and Flash Harry it was an event not to be missed.

Attendees also tantalised their taste buds with delicious food in the food courts from a wide array of local evening eateries and bistros including Chimes Coffee House, Courthouse Bar, Dolce and Gelato, The Premier, Love Coffee, Palomo Bistro, Star of India, The Stables, and Zio Restaurant.
