AFTER intense rehearsals the MADS! Footloose cast performed in front of a live audience last weekend.

The cast were a credit to the hard work put in and there’s still a chance to go along and see this spectacular musical.

Seany Roberts, who performed as the lead role (Ren McCormack), commented: “I think the show went really well on both occasions. The entire cast performed exceptionally well and we did the show justice.

”We are all looking forward to performing this weekend and I would encourage anybody who has not seen Footloose to come along and see it; you will not be disappointed.”

Barry McCrory, MADS! PRO, commented: “I guarantee anybody coming to see the show will be fully entertained. The dancing, acting and singing are up to a very high standard. The Saturday evening show is fully booked out, so it is advisable to book tickets for the other performances.

“On behalf of MADS! We would like to thank our patrons who have supported us over the past 15 years, and we hope when St. Anthony’s Centre re-opens after extensive refurbishment we will come back even bigger with ‘The Sound of Music’.”
