Kieran Loughran went on something of a ‘pub crawl’ through Europe in 1997.
But the then 17 year old NVQ student at the Lurgan campus of the Upper Bann Institute was not sampling the merchandise.
Instead Kieran was hard at work fitting decorative floors to bars in some exotic locations.
His European tour started in Italy where he spent three weeks working on a luxury cruise liner before moving on to London where he worked on the floor of Bad Bob’s bar in the city centre. Then it was across the Irish Sea to Dublin before returning home with more jobs lined up in Finland and Malta.
Kieran is pictured honing his skills at the Lurgan campus.
