Members of the Parkside Snooker Club in Lurgan claimed their fourth All-Ireland title in 1997 at the Gleneagles Hotel in Killarney.

And for the town team it was something of a family affair for the McVeigh clan with manager Francie McVeigh accompanied by twins Kieran and Conor and their brother Rory.

The remainder of the panel were Paul Lenfesty (captain), Kieran McAlinden, John Tallon and substitute Paul Sweeney. Conor McVeigh was named Player of the Tournament.
