PHOTO GALLERY: Miniature manger at Tannaghmore

LIVE mangers are common at Christmas time, but few are in miniature.

Once again staff at the Craigavon Borough Council run Tannaghmore Animal Farm have put their imagination and creativity to good use by creating a miniature live manger for everyone to enjoy.

With knee high pygmie goats, dainty Galway sheep, fully grown Dexter cows about two feet high and a small jack donkey, people will have to look hard to actually see the animals.

"It's very special and is one of the smallest nativity scenes in NI if not Great Britain" says Ground Maintenance Supervisor Ian Rowley, "We hope that as many people as possible will come down and enjoy the delights of the farm".

The farm is open everyday from 10am–5pm except Christmas Day with lucky turkeys, pigs, goats rabbits, cows, horses and of course the renown rare birds. There's also a great play park and loads of open space for all the family to enjoy.

So if you have some time on your hands take a trip to Tannaghmore to get into the Christmas spirit – the staff there will be delighted to see you.
