Waringstown named tidiest school in the area

Waringstown Primary School was named as the cleanest and tidiest in the area in 1992.

They came out tops on the best Kept Primary School competition organised by the Northern Ireland Amenity Council.

It was judged to be the tidiest school in the Southern Education Board area.

Principal, Mr Gary Kennedy, said the school was honoured to receive the award but explained it had been a team effort involving everyone in the happy school community at Waringstown.
