Start your own Christmas tale with sprinklings of festive cheer at Lurgan’s annual Christmas lights switch on.

Taking place on Friday, November 21 from 5pm to 7.15pm, the fabulous fun-filled spectacular will be opened by local West End Star Conleth Kane who will be performing a magical melody of yuletide songs.

There will also be sparkling performances from FADD studios and Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society (MADS) plus an exciting choir performance from St Francis Primary School.

Compered by Cool FM’s Pete Snodden the magic doesn’t stop there with Microlip lighting up the stage with all your favourite festive songs to get you into the spirit of the season.

One extra special guest making an appearance is none other than Santa Claus, arriving in an impressive cavalcade to help the Mayor of Craigavon, Councillor Colin McCusker switch on the lights.

Mayor McCusker commented: “I am delighted to switch on Lurgan’s lights with the main man of the season – Santa Claus!

“The Christmas lights switch on is always an exciting event and is great fun for all the family. The lights bring a touch of magical winter sparkle to the town and the special guests will be helping to spread the festive cheer! Come along, join in the festivities and light up Lurgan for the
