GORDONS Chemists in town will play host to an information day for pensioners tomorrow (Friday) running from 12-4pm.
The session, in conjunction with A2B (Access to Benefits), aims to inform men and women over 60 what entitlements they can expect from various bodies and assist them in claiming those entitlements.

A2B is a non-profit organisation funded by The Atlantic Philanthropies and a grant from the Department of Finance and Personnel. Its sole aim is to help older people across Northern Ireland maximise their take-up of benefit entitlements.

People who cannot make it to the store and have access to a computer can do some research for themselves online. A2B's 'Benefit Screening Tool' is an anonymous, online questionnaire through which information about an older person's status and existing benefits is typed. The tool then works out the nature and value of any benefits and services to which they are entitled.

For further information on A2B please log onto www.a2b.org.uk or visit the Gordons Chemists, Lurgan store on Friday.
