OVER the holiday period some of Craigavon Borough Council facilities will remain open – good news for those who will not be going away – meanwhile the only bin collection affected, Monday, July 14, will be collected later in the week.
The Lough Neagh Discovery Centre, Kinnego Marina, Craigavon Watersports Centre and Golf Ski Centre will remain open over the July holidays - giving you the opportunity to walk in glorious countryside, golf or even hire a bike – whichever you choose.

However, the three leisure centres, Cascades, Waves and Craigavon Leisure Centre will be closed on Saturday, July 12 re-opening on Wednesday, July 16 with regular opening hours.

Meanwhile on Friday, July 11 the bin collections will be as normal, but Monday, July 14 bins will be collected on Saturday, July 19. The rest of the collections remain unaffected.

The recycling centres in both Lurgan and Portadown will be closed Saturday, July 12 to 14 but will re-open on Tuesday, July 15 from 8am-8pm (gates close at 7.45pm).

The Civic Centre will be closed from Saturday, July to Tuesday, July 15 re-opening on Wednesday, July 16 with community centres and town halls closed on Monday and Tuesday, July 14 and 15, except for bookings that have been confirmed in advance.
