ROADS SERVICE has said it will be unlikely it will carry out traffic calming measures in Waringstown.
Councillors and residents from Church Place and Meadowvale had asked Roads Service to carry out risk assessments on the roads in their area.

At Craigavon Borough Council's monthly meeting (August 5) Roads Service revealed the roads involved did not score high enough to warrant traffic calming measures.

The Roads Service inspected the sites and based their findings on collision history, vehicle speeds, volume and type of traffic and environmental factors.

In a letter to council Roads Service said it would be unlikely the roads would be included in a programme of traffic calming works.
