Craigavon nurses the best in all the land

AN EXAMINATION success rate which was higher than the provincial average was the achievement of the Southern Area Group School of Nursing, based at Craigavon Area Hospital in July 1979.
K Galbraith chief administrative nursing officer told nurses at their annual prize giving that this achievement reflected the degree of commitment of all the staff involved in nurse training at Craigavon.

Reporting on the nursing services in the area Miss Galbraith said a continued interest shown in psychiatric nursing had resulted in an increase of trained nurses in this specialised field.
