THE Fashion Shop on Church Place in 1959 had reversible horse hair nylon slips in blue and white and crocus yellow and white at 42/-.
Ladies’ shortie cotton and nylon pyjamas and nighties were on display as well as the cotton lace jumpers in W.X and O.S.

fittings by Helen Bond.

There was a wide range of cotton frocks in hip sizes 34 to 48 inches. Fully fashioned nylons were from 5/11 and seamless nylons were 3/11, 4/11 and 6/11.
