LURGAN girl Anita Arlow was making quite a name for herself in March 1967.
She was working as a 'bunny' in London's famous Playboy Club and had landed the holiday of a lifetime in the grounds of a royal palace in the Persian Gulf.
The 19-year-old was to be the guest of Sheik Khalifa Bin Sulman Al Khalifa, the brother of the ruler of Bahrain.
She was to fly with another 'bunny' to the "island in the sun," where they were to stay in a luxury bungalow in the grounds of the palace, and spend their time sun-bathing, swimming and sight-seeing.
Anita, originally from William Street, had gone to London intending to open a boutique and took a part-time job at the Playboy Club before becoming a fully-fledged 'bunny' girl.
