SEVEN Towers Karate Club has decided to start new beginners' classes locally.
The classes will be in the Seven Towers Leisure Centre Ballymena.

There will be separate children and adult classes.

No special clothes are needed to start - tracksuit or a loose fitting pair of trousers and a t/shirt will suffice.

Karate training has many benefits. It is an excellent method of self defence.

It can help the individual get fit and stay fit.

It can also help to develop self confidence.

Beginners will be coached in a slow relaxed way to help ease them gradually into the basic techniques.

Anyone interested should turn up at the club 15 minutes before the class starts. The first class is a try out session and is also an introduction to how the club operates.

The class will run in the Minor Hall on Wednesdays from 7-8pm (children) and from 8-9.30pm (adults).

Minimum age to start is 5 years old but there is no maximum age limit.

The two oldest members at the clubs are aged 72 and 74 years old.

Anyone requiring further information can call 07976987696 or e-mail chujo@hotmail.com
