SOROPTIMIST International of Lurgan recently celebrated a combined 430 years of service by members of the club.

This was a wonderful achievement by these women who have been involved in a diverse range of projects from supporting Lurgan Gateway Club and running an annual public speaking competition to raising money for solar lanterns for schoolgirls in Zambia.

The Lurgan Club are actively seeking new members and were delighted to welcome a new member to the club.

Anyone who would like to experience the friendship and support of other professional women and be able to contribute to making a difference to the lives of women and girls here in Northern Ireland and across the world, then Soroptimist International is the organisation to join.

Anyone interested should contact Eleanor Ferris on 0774 814 979.
