£6,000 worth of fuel is stolen

POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary at industrial premises in the Hall Road area of Donaghcloney.

Sometime between 11pm on Sunday, June 17, and 2:30am on Monday, June 18, thieves broke into the premises and around £6,000 worth of diesel and home heating oil was stolen.

During the course of the burglary around £1,000 worth of damage was also caused.

Police are appealing for anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area to contact them.

They are also keen to speak with the three male occupants of two white Ford Transit vans seen in the area at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at Lurgan on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
