A PROTEST staged in the Lurgan Tarry area centred on the former home of a registered sex offender.
The home owner said the offender, Thomas McDonagh, had left her residence and would not be returning.

In a statement she said: “I Jackie Bell state that Thomas McDonagh moved out of my house on June 3 when he was convicted of indecent assault.

“He will not be returning to my house to live here or to visit. I wish to thank the majority of my neighbours who have understood my position and supported me.”

Jackie, a mother herself added: “I just want peace for my child.”

She went on to say: "That paedophile has not and will not be back in my house."
