Poundstretcher opens its doors

THE new Poundstretcher store in the town opens tomorrow (Friday) at 10am.
Based at the old Woolworths site, the new store will employ 15 staff (five full-time and 10 part-time).

It's part of a wider expansion for the Poundstretcher chain which is looking at eight other sites across Northern Ireland.

The chain will be taking over a number of former Woolworths stores including Connswater, Bangor, Coleraine and Omagh.

Poundstretcher cater for household wares, textiles seasonal items, stationary and have a children's department.

The store will be open seven days a week, 9am-6pm Monday to Thursday, late opening Friday till 9pm, 9am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday 1pm till 6pm.

They have 320 stores across the UK and 24 stores in Northern Ireland.
