IN the last few years St Peter’s GAA Club has hosted some fantastic evenings.

These included white collar boxing, Phantom of the Opera, musicals and the world class performer Phil Coulter.

On Friday, May 24, the club is offering patrons the opportunity to see the famous Martin Lynch play, ‘History of the Troubles’.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the original cast of Conor Grimes, Alan McKee and Ivan Little will take to the stage for what promises to be another great evening.

One of the event organisers, Jimmy Magee, said: “The club is committed to bringing quality acts to Lurgan and ‘History of the Troubles’ is no exception.

“And with tickets costing just £12 St Peter’s are offering real value for money.

“All proceeds will go towards developing underage, ladies and senior football at the club so it’s important that members, parents and the community come along and support the event.

To book tickets call 07901 525331 or collect from behind the bar in the Club. Doors open at 6.30pm and show starts at 8pm.
