A woman charged with the theft of approximately £30,000 has been remanded on continuing bail.
Catherine Conway, Foxgrove, Lurgan, appeared at Craigavon Magistrate’s Court yesterday (Wednesday).
The 49-year-old faces four charges. She is charged that on October 1, 2012, whilst occupying a position in which she was expected to safeguard the financial interests of a female, she abused that position by taking a bank card and withdrawing money over a period of three years.
It is also alleged that on the same date she stole approximately £30,000 from the same injured party.
Conway is further charged with concealing and possessing criminal property on October 17, 2012.
She will appear again at Craigavon Magistrate’s Court on August 10.
