THE Waringstown branch of Plumb-Rite is set to close.
The long-established bathroom and plumbing supplies business, which has been on the Waringstown Road site for more than 30 years, will close with the company being consolidated at its Lisburn headquarters.
Company director Neville Warren said the decision was brought about because of high rates at the Waringstown premises, where he was forced to pay rates for the entire building even though he was only using half of it.
It’s understood two members of staff face redundancy.
Mr Warren said business was healthy at the company’s headquarters on the Moira Road in Lisburn and all its customers in Waringstown, Lurgan and surrounding areas would be given the same high level of service from there.
