LURGAN-BASED Norman Emerson Group has signed a distribution agreement with a Dutch company Bera to market its range of stabilisation systems for use in the laying of gravel paths and driveways.
The hexagonal honeycomb-like structure of high quality polypropylene cells are designed to provide a strong and stable sub-base that will provide easy mobility for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles, including trucks.
“We came across the environmentally friendly system at the Verona Stone Show in Italy and realised it was an ideal method of support for the various decorative gravel products that we supply,” explained Norman Emerson Group sales director, Kenny Crooks.
The product was launched locally at the SelfBuild & Improve Your Home Exhibition which was staged at the King’s Hall Pavilion, Belfast at the weekend.
