MP’s high praise

UPPER Bann MP David Simpson has praised the Lurgan Show Committee on the outstanding success of this year’s centenary event.

Mr Simpson said: “Given the fact that so many other events were scheduled for the weekend right across the whole of Northern Ireland, the fact that so many people came to spend the day at Lurgan Show was further evidence of just why this remains one of the Province’s premier dates in the calendar.

“This centenary year has been yet another outstanding success.

“Every year it just gets bigger and better and this historic centenary year was no different.

“Once again thanks are due to Chairman Eddie Harkness, and Secretary Michelle Doran and the entire committee who all work so tirelessly to make Lurgan Show the highlight of the year.”
