A NEW ‘One Stop Shop’ customer information centre for Land and Property Services will provide better service for Craigavon customers.

Finance Minister Sammy Wilson officially opened the new Land & Property Services (LPS) Customer Information Centre in Craigavon last week.

The Customer Information Centre, located in Marlborough House, enables members of the public to access a range of LPS products and services under one roof.

It will provide customers with information on rates, valuation, land registration and mapping products and services.

Minister Wilson said: “Providing an excellent service to our customers is a top priority for Land & Property Services. This enhanced Customer Information Centre will ensure that local people have access to a wider range of products and services in one place rather than having to visit different LPS buildings.

“The Centre is another step towards modernising the services provided by LPS and demonstrates our commitment to deliver services in an integrated, cost effective and efficient way.”

The Customer Information Centre is open Monday to Thursday 9.30 am-4.30 pm and Friday 10am-4.30 pm. The services available include: providing access to search for land and property ownership in Northern Ireland and processing purchases of uncertified Land Registry copy maps and folios.

The following maps are available to purchase: ACEmaps® for planning permission; A selection of standard printed and historical maps; and Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland® small-scale paper maps.

The office will also provide help on all aspects of your rate bill including: answering queries; receiving cheque payment for rates in the quick deposit box; discussing payment options including setting up direct debits; and providing information on getting help to pay your rates.

The also provide access to the Valuation List online; answering enquiries about rateable values; and receiving applications for revision of the Valuation List.
