Plaza promotes night economy

LURGAN Plaza will come alive with fantastic music, fabulous food and comedy performances at Craigavon Borough Council’s exciting evening economy event in Lurgan.

Taking place on Frida, September 23, from 5pm-10pm, locals, shoppers and visitors alike can listen to the harmonious beats of the Martello Jazz Band and sensational sounds of musician Paul Hull. With comedy performances and a food court from restaurants throughout the town it’s the perfect way to kick start your weekend in style!

Organised by the Development Department, the event forms part of the Department’s ‘Regeneration and Revitalisation Framework’ aimed at promoting the wonderful evening economy and dining culture Lurgan has to offer to both residents and visitors alike.

Chair of the Development Committee, Councillor Carla Lockhart, commented: “With mouthwatering foods and your all-time favourite songs, this event is one not to miss! Get your gladrags on and enjoy all Lurgan has to offer with family and friends this autumn.”

Live musical entertainment will also be playing in venues throughout the town later that night.
