UNITED Wine Merchants’ marketing team is celebrating after once again claiming success at the prestigious Ulster Grocer Awards.

The Lurgan-based drinks supplier won the Best Off-Sales Drinks Campaign for the second successive year, this time for the activity involved in the successful launch of Bella Vie, a new Italian Rosé label.

Marketing Manager Melanie Talbot commented: “This award is a reflection of our marketing team’s great work in driving the launch of Bella Vie and I’m delighted this has been recognised by Ulster Grocer. We look forward to building the profile of Bella Vie further as we introduce a new 187ml bottle and a new Pinot Grigio varietal, and indeed supporting all the labels and brands within our extensive portfolio.”

United Wine Merchants employed a multi-faceted marketing campaign to launch the brand and establish significant market share. This utilised all available communication channels including advertising, PR, sponsorship and online to communicate the brand values of Bella Vie as a fun, stylish rosé for 20-something women.
