Police have warned about antisocial behaviour after two incidents of criminal damage in Lurgan’s Ailsbury Park.

The PSNI said some time overnight between Saturday, 24 August and Sunday, 25 August a Seat Ibiza and Ford Focus were damaged.

The cars had also been damaged in a similar incident two weeks previously sustaining scrapes to the bodywork.

Con Currie, Lurgan Response, said: “These incidents appear to have happened over weekend nights when many people are out socialising.

“What may appear daring or ‘fun’ after a night out can look completely different in the cold light of day. If you are found to be involved in activity of this nature you could find yourself with a criminal conviction which will have long lasting consequences on education, employment and travel opportunities.

“We are appealing to anyone with information about these incidents to contact us in Lurgan on 0845 600 8000.”
