Charged with indecent assault
A 78 year old man has been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court charged with indecent assault on a male person.
William McGeown, Hill Lane, Derrytrasna, appeared at a preliminary inquiry last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.
The charge against him alleges that on a date unknown between February 15, 1974, and February 16, 1976, he indecently assaulted a male person.
McGeown was remanded on his own bail of £500 to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on May 8. A condition of his bail is that he is to have no contact with the injured party.
