Chris Molloy will launch his new EP ‘Old Songs and Habits’ on Friday, March 28, with a gig in the Sunflower Bar in Belfast.

Other artists performing on the night include No Oil Paintings, Jack and Glenn, Junior Johnson and Rachel Hegarty.

The bar is located at 65 Union Street in the city. Admission is £5 which includes a free CD and free download of Chris’ new record.

In the five-track mini-album Chris, the singer with Music Plus Fire and former keyboard player with Captain Kennedy, lays himself bare with some majestic ballads.

There’s Not A Thing I Would Not Do For You evokes comparisons with Duke Special while Do You Know My Name could fit snugly into a Van Morrison setlist. There’s also hints of Nick Drake and Elliot Smith as Chris puts on a vocal masterclass.
