Council pays £10k to nurse company

CRAIGAVON Borough Council has paid more than £10k to a private nursing company.

Mayfair Specialist Nurses staff received £10,568.29 towards staff medical costs, according to recently published figures.

A spokesperson for Craigavon Council said: “The costs to Mayfair Specialist Nurses is for the council’s Occupational Health Nurse.”

According to the company website Mayfair Specialist Nurses was established in 1998 to engage specialist healthcare staff for their individual professional skills and experience.
