A 29-year-old man has pleaded not guilty at last week’s Banbridge Magistrates Court to a charge of sexually touching a female charge without her consent.
Phillip Ireland, Maypole, Park, Dromore, is accused of intentionally touching a female and that the touching was sexual and she did not consent to the touching.
The offence is alleged to have taken place on October 23 this year.
Ireland’s solicitor indicated to last Thursday’s court, sitting in Newry, that his client would be pleading not guilty to the charge.
The case was adjourned until December 15 to fix a date for the contest.
