THREE relatives of prominent Lurgan dissident republican Colin Duffy appeared in a Lisburn court today (Saturday)charged with terrorism offences.
They are Paul John Duffy, 47, from Ailsbury Gardens, Damien Duffy, 42, from Campbell Walk, and Shane Duffy, 41, from Kilwilkie Road.
The charges include collecting information likely to be of use to terrorists, conspiracy to murder, and conspiring to cause an explosion.
The accused were remanded in custody.
It follows a major police investigation into dissident republican activity which was carried out in conjunction with MI5.
Paul John Duffy faces a further charge of directing terrorism.
A detective said he could connect the defendants to the charges.
Colin Duffy was in the public gallery along with around 20 supporters.
A defence solicitor said the Duffy family felt they were being "persecuted" by police.
