A fight in Lurgan town centre was filmed on a mobile phone by a member of thepublic and shown to police, Craigavon Magistrates Court has heard.
One of those involved in the fight was Peter Sean Cawley (29), Garland Court, Lurgan.
He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy for disorderly behaviour on October 27 last year.
The court heard that around 1.30am there was an altercation outside a bar. When police arrived they saw another person with no shirt on while Cawley’s shirt was ripped. Neither of them was prepared to make a statement.
Police were then approached by a member of the public who had filmed what happened on a mobile phone. It showed the two men fighting outside the bar.
Cawley admitted there had been a fight, that he had been disorderly and his behaviour was unacceptable. He had no relevant matters on his record.
A solicitor for Cawley said the defendant had been out with his partner and friends and the other individual appeared to act in an antagonistic way. He added Cawley accepted he should have not been drawn into something.
